Before we go any further, I must give the biggest shout out to two women who have come through in a big way to support this course and - if we’re being honest – help make it what it is today. Thank you to Katie Gray for serving as my editor and for making the content of this course super professional and presentable. And thank you to Miriam Jameson for lovingly creating the music for the meditation and pranayama practices. It was a pure delight to work with each of them. They also both happen to be yoga teachers and incredible human beings. I can’t say Thank You enough!

Professional photography was either done by myself, Chunky Monkey Photography, or Tribe Photography.

I also want to give so much thanks and gratitude to my teachers. I have had more yoga teachers and mentors over the years than I can list or name here. Two prominent and recent teachers are Sondra Loring and Ragunath Cappo, my 300-hour advanced teacher trainers who taught me so much more than I even thought possible about yoga philosophy, asana, and how it all interweaves with life. They introduced me to mindful vinyasa sequencing and the bhakti tradition – two things that have grown exponentially in my heart and in my practice.

I would also love to recognize a few teachers who I have worked with directly and/or indirectly over the last several years that have influenced me as well including:

Jason Crandell who has helped me refine my teachings - especially in terms of mindful vinyasa sequencing and intentional communication. I appreciate his depth of alignment and anatomical knowledge, and how he isn't afraid to go against the "yoga status quo" to offer new ways of teaching postures that feel more inclusive and functional.

Tara Brach's teachings on radical compassion and, specifically, the RAIN process have been instrumental in my own practice and development. I appreciate her down-to-earth, accessible style. The tools she offers are essential for all beings.

Bree Melanson who has helped me develop spiritually to a point my soul knew it needed to go but my mind didn't think possible. I am so grateful for her Psychic Bootcamp course which opened up pathways within me that I am still exploring - and that I hope I will continue to explore for the rest of this life and beyond.

A big, big thank you must go to my dear friend and boddhisatva sister, Sandra Vanatko, owner and steward of Indra’s Grace Yoga in Weatherford, Texas. Over the last 15 years, Sandra has served as a steady system of support in so many ways. We have been together through the ups and downs of life and studio management/ownership. We have grown together, cried together, celebrated together – and everything in between. It’s an honor to get to teach, lead, and serve with her, and it’s also an honor to do life with her.

Indra's Grace: A Yoga and Meditation Studio has served as a refuge for me during countless times in life where I got the rug pulled out from under me, and it’s also where some of my happiest and most blissful moments have occurred. I’m so grateful for the space itself - which feels like a sacred ashram -  and I’m equally grateful, if not more so, to the people who fill the space: The incredible community of teachers that we have working at Indra’s Grace (they truly are a dream team), and the amazing students who come together and bring such joy and brightness through the way they uplift, serve, and empower each other.

It really does feel like heaven on earth to be in the space with the people that make up Indra’s Grace. And, for this I am so supremely grateful. It is this sacred and supportive space that has inspired and empowered me to bring this course into the world. So, I hope that you receive it with as much love as I am sending it. My prayer is that this love continues to be multiplied as we expand through connecting, remembering, and elevating.

Finally, I want to thank my family: My life partner, Wes, and my sweet baby boy, Eli, my parents Hiram and Tara, and my sister Becca. I’d also love to honor and recognize the sangha of dear friends and students that I have gotten to know as I’ve journeyed on this path. Through loving and doing life with these incredible humans, I have learned so many more lessons about growth, expansion, and breaking through patterns than any formal classroom, course, or teacher could show me. For that I am forever grateful.
